I want to wear this hat, I really do.
But the feather makes me feel somehow like I'm Justin Timberlake's back-up bitch.
And so, mostly, it stays in the closet.
This blog was born out of the question Can I leave the house like this?
And, how many days in a row can I wear yoga pants?
Have I become a grown-up? Am I my mother? Do I look like my mother?
Can I wear leg warmers? How short can my skirt be?
If a 13 year old likes my boots, is that a good thing?
Where did you get THAT!?
We're on a mission away from the daily yoga pants, working to be hip, hot and age-appropriate through the cougar-y, MILF-ish, mom-jeans time of life we’re in. We're looking for women who are doing the same.
We'll post pics of our progress and you can chime in along the way.
i am in favor of the hat sans feather only because i think the pattern on the hat speaks for itself. The feather seems like unnecessary embellishment on something that is fabulous on its own. I own a similar hat that once housed a similar feather and after a quick cut with the scissors, it is now feather-free...might be worth a try.
