Short and Square

Sweater dress, from our trip to New York. Bought at Daffy's, a strange store with an assortment of goods including swanky German yoga pants, Crock-pots, and racks of clothes organized by color.

It was a surprise buy because 1) it's very square, and so am I - no need to accentuate the obvious, 2) it's a sweater dress, and I am an adult, and 3) it's quite short, and (again) I am an adult.

The pros were that 1) it's square, and so fits me well, 2) it's very thick, which sort of negates the shortness, 3) big buttons, front pockets, and and flared skirt, and 4) it's nothing I would ever buy, usually.

One more pro than con, along with a lot of pushing from my co-shopper. So I bought it. And I've worn it (though I do find it a teeny bit short, when I bend over).

Ahh, no one said it would be easy.
