Change is Possible

I went away,

and I wore a hat.

Twice!

Milliner's Boon

I love hats. I buy hats. All the time.

And I never, ever wear them. Why not, I ask you, why not?

Not brave enough. More on that later.

The One That Got Away

Oh hat, why didn't I buy you? I still think about you.

I think you may have been right for me, but I have commitment issues
(with hats).

If we meet again I promise to try.

Flaws and All

This is the first from the trip to New York.

It's a hat (Betmar New York), which I love to buy, but never wear.

It's got a flower, which is not usually my style.

It's not warm, because it's got that cool loose-knit-thing going on.

It's a hybrid, part ski and part baseball, which is often too confusing for me.

It makes my hair more static-y than that parachute in elementary school gym class ever could.

But pushing through what you'd usually do is what we're here for, right? So I bought it.
